Career guidance, counselling and special education
At Perho, you’ll get help with career planning, progressing your studies and special support if you need it – depending on your situation.
Career guidance – individual support throughout your studies
At Perho, you can get help with career and study planning. You’ll have your own careers adviser to encourage and support you throughout your studies. Your career counsellor will work with you to develop a personalised skills acquisition plan (HOKS) and support you when you are considering career choices or how to progress smoothly in your studies. For students who are compulsory school leavers, the career counsellor will also work closely with your guardians.
Student counselling – help with questions about studying and postgraduate studies
You can contact your adviser if you have any questions about applying and studying. They can also advise you when you need help with the different stages of your studies or with planning and applying for postgraduate studies. They will also support you in matters relating to student welfare and well-being.
Special needs education – support for individual needs
Vocational education and training (VET) aims to provide the basic vocational skills needed to gain employment, ensure eligibility for further study and create the conditions for a good life. If you need specific support to achieve your goals, special teachers will help you. Support includes concurrent learning, work-based learning, small group learning, individual counselling and intensive work placement support.
