Feedback about us
We collect feedback about our operations throughout the year according to the annual calendar of operational results. This ensures that students, working life partners, and other stakeholders can genuinely influence the development of our operations. On this page, we have highlighted some key insights from students, working life, and guardians of compulsory education students.
Reliability
We are particularly proud of our success in activating respondents exceptionally well. High response rates increase the representativeness of feedback and strengthen the reliability of results. We greatly appreciate every respondent and are grateful for all feedback.
The table below shows how we have succeeded in response rates in student feedback and working life feedback in the Finnish National Agency for Education’s Arvo system compared to the national average.

Student satisfaction
The goal of the Perho Quality system is to ensure that the Learning and Growth strategy is implemented in practice and that operations are developed according to our objectives. Student feedback is a key part of this development work. We use a five-point scale in feedback, which is consistent with the Finnish National Agency for Education’s Arvo system.
Another key process is promoting student competence. An essential part of this process includes the preparation of a personal competence development plan (HOKS), sufficient teaching and guidance, appropriate support, and assessment of competence according to criteria.
The table below shows how students have evaluated these key areas in the Arvo (vocational education) final stage survey for the period 1.7.2023–30.6.2024. The results indicate that our students find the progress of studies flexible, the study environment safe, and are happy to recommend the institution forward.

In the final stage Arvo (vocational education) survey, students are asked, among other things, how satisfied they are with the education they have received. The table below compiles the average responses for the period 1.7.2023–30.6.2024 from those qualifications where Perho Culinary, Tourism & Business College had at least five respondents.

Working life perspectives
The Finnish National Agency for Education’s national workplace survey is conducted twice a year and is sent to designated contact persons at workplaces. The survey assesses, among other things, the smoothness of cooperation, communication, and the organization of learning in working life.
The table below presents the average responses to six key statements. The results show that Perho Culinary, Tourism & Business College consistently receives higher ratings than the national average – especially in the smoothness of cooperation and the organization of learning in working life.

The experiences of workplace instructors are a key part of assessing the quality of vocational education. The Finnish National Agency for Education’s national survey maps, among other things, the smoothness of cooperation and the functionality of guidance. The survey is sent to workplace instructors who have guided our students during their learning in working life.
The results show that Perho Culinary, Tourism & Business College receives excellent ratings in the smoothness of cooperation, with results from all fields of education clearly exceeding the national average.

Guardians’ perspectives
With the extension of compulsory education to include upper secondary education, the role and interest of guardians in the quality of education have become increasingly emphasized.
Since 2024, Perho Culinary, Tourism & Business College has conducted its own annual guardian survey to collect feedback from guardians of students in different fields of education.
The table below shows the NPS recommendation scores given by guardians annually and separately for those in the early stages of their studies and those who have been studying for a longer period. An NPS score above 50 is generally considered very good, and the results indicate strong confidence in the quality of education and the institution’s operations.
