Malmi campus

By bus and train

The Malmi campus is the home base for business, tourism and nature education. The campus is located in Lower Malmi in a lush park environment and the proximity to nature is reflected on campus all year round. We make extensive use of the campus environment for our studies and events.

Malmi is easy to get to. The campus is easily accessible by bus and train. The nearest bus stop is about 300 metres from the campus and it is about a five-minute walk to Malmi train station.

Facilities

The Malmi campus is spacious, modern and easily accessible. The campus building has a variety of learning and working spaces, a student lounge and a cosy student and staff restaurant, Perhon Helmi. Our facilities are easily accessible, with lifts that allow wheelchair users and other assistive devices to get from one floor to the next.

Parking & bikes

Bicycles can be left safely in their racks in front of the campus. There are electric car charging points in front of the campus and you can park your car or motorbike in our parking area.

Sports centre and educational field

The Malmi campus is home to the Helmi Center, a sports centre with a ballroom, a fully equipped gym, a dance studio and sauna facilities.

The campus has its own teaching field, Green City Farm, a common learning environment for all disciplines and a source of local food for our restaurants.
