We work on the principles of a safer space

At Perho, we have a Safer Space Policy in place, which we follow in our community.

1. We respect ourselves and others. We do not mock or criticise others by our words or actions.
2. We don’t make assumptions about each other. We try not to assume each other’s gender, background or opinions. We pay attention to our choice of words.
3. We listen and learn. We genuinely listen to others and learn from them. We respect what others say and do not talk down to them.
4. We value the opportunity to learn. We give each other the freedom to work and study, we look after our common spaces.
5. We give you a body harness. We respect each other’s space and do not touch others without permission. We do not take pictures of others without permission. We will not comment negatively on our own or others’ body appearance.
6. We think well of each other. We consider others. We leave no one alone. We treat others with support and openness.
7. Making mistakes and asking questions is allowed. You don’t have to know everything by heart.
