Opportunities for exercise – welcome to Helmi Center

Helmi Center is Perho’s own student-owned sports and wellness centre, located in Malmi campus offering an excellent framework for exercise, training and recovery. The centre is actively used both for sports lessons and for coaching student athletes.

Versatile sports centre

At Helmi Center you can move in a variety of ways:

• A large playing arena, divisible into three parts
• Squash court, offering the opportunity for a fast-paced game
• A dance studio for group exercise or independent training, for example
• Gym for basic and strength training
• Sauna facilities for recovery and relaxation

Open to students

The games arena is available to students on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the gym from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The facilities can be used for self-motivation, games with a group of friends or, for example, sports events organised by the school.

Space for even larger events

In the evenings and on weekends, the Helmi Center is transformed into a stage for national and international football tournaments. Other events, such as graduations, fairs or seminars, can also be held here – there is enough space for a larger audience.
