About Vocational Education
Studies in Perho Culinary, Tourism & Business College
The vocational studies base on individual study plans, comprising compulsory and optional study modules in Perho Culinary, Tourism & Business College. Education is organized in intensive cooperation with the world of work.
Qualifications include on-the-job learning in workplaces. Also, vocational skills demonstrations in authentic settings are implemented and assessed with representatives of the world of work.
Graduates of vocational qualifications have broad base abilities and specialized trade minimum in one genre. In addition to this the vocational qualification gives general eligibility for universities of applied sciences and university studies. You can start the University of Applied Sciences studies as pathway studies, that are combinable with the vocational qualification studies.
Further and specialist vocational qualifications completed through an apprenticeship are an opportunity for you to pursue further education towards a managerial position or/and acquire the niche expertise you need in your work.
We have a long tradition of providing high quality education also in English.

- Continuous admission on perho.fi and Opintopolku.fi to vocational qualification following general upper secondary school and other studies, also with athlete status and to the studies in English. Continuous admission is a path way to improve profession or take the career to the next level through further/specialist vocational qualifications, too.
There’s no actual entrance exam for any of our studies but we arrange an aptitude test (soveltuvuuskoe) for all the applicants of continuous admission for studies. On the application, we invite an aptitude test, which is an individual or a group interview.
