Sustainable development

Aiming to sustainable and responsible know-how

Sustainable development is a deep-rooted part of Perho Culinary, Tourism & Business College.

Agenda 2030:

Perho CTB College’s staff and students appreciate their environmental friendliness and economical, social and cultural responsibility. They are committed to principles of sustainable development and follow as well as provide them in their acts.

Responsibility and sustainability are the cross-sections in our educational fields and every stage of the studies. The study contents contain hands-on learning – for example, in projects in cooperation with business partners and on the own city field Green City Farm.

Kestävä kehitys osana perholaisuutta

A city field takes its place as a learning environment for sustainable development

In Malmi Campus is Green City Farm, our students’ mutual learning environment for sustainable development.

When working in the field, they learn, e.g. journey of the food from the soil onto a dining table and back in the point of view of circular economy, product information and development, as well as sales and marketing.

One of our targets is to bring sustainable gastronomy to a part of Finnish cuisine.
